Biography
 
Christopher A. Tolliver (b.1977), a native of Harlan County, Kentucky, studied at the University of Kentucky School of Music, Bachelor of Arts program, majoring in Vocal Performance with an emphasis in Music Theory and Composition. He is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Professional Music Fraternity and the American Composers Forum. Composition and/or performance venues include: Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Lexington Children's Theatre, Actor's Guild of Lexington, University of Kentucky Opera Theatre, Lexington Shakespeare Festival, Paragon Theater, Act Out, Studio Players, former Opera of Central Kentucky, American Musical Ambassadors, and is a winner of the 2004 Kentucky National Arts and Letters Association Award for Musical Theater. He is a classically trained pianist, vocalist and composer whose writing ranges from music for theatre, opera, orchestral, concert band, musical theater, film, and media.
